If you know me, you know that I tend to cry when things matter.
Today was no exception. I literally cried through my whole sermon on praising God in all times and places today in my last class with these Preaching Elder peers. The sermon was based on Psalm 111 and Psalm 66:1-12 and was titled "Praising God: Why, How and When." These fabulous peers and our Pastor/ Teacher, Dr. Bill Levering, were incredibly gracious with my tender heart. For three years and 6 classes, I have learned more and more about our Reformed Church in America, the Bible, and how to share my love of God, Jesus, and my faith in church and beyond.
Dear Classmates,
Thank you All, I appreciate your comments, time, and efforts in walking beside me in this work. Thank you Family, for the nights you had to eat leftovers because Mama had a Zoom. Thank you for the guides within our church and the support of my First Reformed Church of Scotia Family.
After my final tests in late February 2023, I will see where this work will take me. So thankful, grateful and blessed for every opportunity to learn from both fabulous professors and lovely peers.
With deep gratitude now and always,
Lynn
